A bespoke content management system built using Codeigniter powers this vast website. The Salon Business site was set up to resell the company's printed publication, which in turn drives traffic beck to the website.
The sit features many dynamic features - a blog, news section, featured section and ad campaign manager, but the most complicated part of the site was a full user community. The community allows users to register, comment on articles, post jobs, set up image galleries and swap notes in a custom forum designed to bring the hairdressing and fashion community together online and inform them of industry news and changing styles & trends.
